Jet Lag = A Dog Day In NHL Betting

As the European correspondent for Spittin’ Chiclets flying across the Atlantic has become a regular thing and dealing with jet lag is just part of my life. Depending on which way you are going there are different things you can do to combat sleepiness or difficulty falling asleep. Some people believe in fighting it off and going to bed early than they normally do. I don’t agree with this, I believe in naps and if that means going to sleep a tad later than usual that's okay.

I’ve made it look easy to get on schedule when I go on the Chiclets trip by staying busy all day and night and making sure to have enough Pink Whitney and Big Deal Brew to make me sleep through the night.

The NHL has the Global Series going this year with 2 different sets of games. The first one was in the Czech Republic, where we saw the Nashville Predators sweep the San Jose Sharks. These NHL teams are flying private with all first-class seats is a far cry from the coach middle seat that I’ve sometimes endured but they still can't find a way to be productive when they get back.

Nashville Predators are 0-5 next 5 on US soil

San Jose Sharks 1-4 next 5 on US soil

This proves flying back from Europe is not easy even for elite athletes playing in the NHL.

Well here we go again, Colorado dismantled Columbus in Finland last weekend and now they both return to action in North America tonight. I did not receive any calls from these teams on how to deal with jet lag so we will fade both of these teams in the near future.
